Ohana Groups provide a great way for people to connect together as a local church community. Ohana Groups are are made up of small groups of families & individuals committed to doing life together in Christ. Come and build healthy relationships with other believers as we fellowship and explore the scriptures, encouraging one another weekly.

What is an OHANA Group?
A gathering of 6 - 14 people committed to meet on a regular basis for fellowship, mutual care, study, prayer, and service. Group discussions are led by mature and proven leaders. Groups typically meet during evening hours in homes, on the job, or wherever they choose. There are groups available for couples, singles, and men and women in practically every life stage.
How important are OHANA Groups?
We believe that Ohana Groups are essential to church life and to our growth as authentic followers of Jesus Christ. Groups provide a place where we can be real with others and experience true relationships and accountability, service, and growth with brothers and sisters who are committed to one another and to God. As we do life together we also discover ways to use our gifts and serve together.
When and where do they meet?
Ohana Groups meet in host homes on various nights of the week throughout Kapaa, Wailua, Lihue, and Puhi. (We are always looking to expand our boundaries.)
What is the commitment?
Be consistent, be honest, be gracious, be confidential - what is said in the group stays in the group. Our groups are open to receiving new people and multiplying the group as God leads.
What if I don't connect with the group or my schedule changes?
You are always welcome to try another group to find one that fits your life stage and your schedule.
What will we study?
The studies are based on what has been decided by the group. Some study a book of the Bible, a topical study, a video series relating to special interest, or studies pertaining to the previous Sunday message.
What if I have children?
We leave it up to groups with children to determine their own approach. Some groups share a sitter, others trade childcare with another community group that meets at another time and others include their children in part or all of the evening. You can discuss your situation with the person who contacts you after you sign up.
**Financial assistance is available to help off-set childcare to attend.
How do I sign up?
Contact us at the church office, and we'd be happy to connect you with a group that would be right for you!
