Adult Discipleship

Adults at LMC grow closer to Jesus and each other by meeting regularly in smaller groups to eat, encourage, and enjoy good friendships. Below are a few ways we do this.

Ohana Groups

Ohana Groups provide a great way for us to connect together as family. Ohana groups are communities of 6-14 people who meet regularly to share, pray, read God's Word, and care for each other in practical ways. Groups meet throughout the week from Lihue to Kapaa. For directions or more information, please contact the Ohana Group leader or church office.

Men's Ministry

LMC Men gather regularly for fun and encouragement. Every Saturday we meet at 7:00 a.m. to drink coffee and discuss various topics related to following Jesus. Usually we meet at LMC, however the first Saturday of every month we meet at Kalapaki beach park to enjoy a potluck breakfast and the beauty of God's creation.

Our 2019 Man Camp will be April 5-7 at Polihale. There will be surfing, hiking, amazing food, and good conversations.

Women's Ministry

Women at LMC meet regularly to encourage each other and deepen friendships. Currently the Women's Ministry is doing a study called "Christian" on Tuesdays from 6 - 8:00 p.m.

There will be a Women's Retreat in Kilauea on April 27-29.  Sign-up at LMC on Sundays.

Young Adults

Our youth pastor, Cory Howatt, leads a young adults Bible study along with pastor Curtis Bell of Kalaheo Missionary Church every Monday night at Curtis's home, 4681A Puuwai rd. Kalaheo, from 7-9PM. This study is made up of young (and some not so young) adults from many different churches on island. They are currently in Esther as they are going through the entire Bible in the Hebrew (TaNaK) order of the Scriptures. This study's goal is to teach people how to read the Bible, as well as track and highlight big themes that stretch through the whole story of Scripture.
