Outreaches
At LMC we desire to be God's hands and feet in blessing our community.
Below are some of the ways we are seeking to do so.
ABLE
ABLE is a fellowship group for young adults with special needs.
We believe that we are able to do all things that God calls us to through Christ who strengthens us.
We have Sunday School in the LMC Den at 10 a.m. and meet at LMC on Monday evenings for food, fun and Bible study.
Men meet on Mondays from 5:00-6:15 p.m. and Women meet from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
We also have a party the second Saturday of every month at LMC from 5-8 p.m.
Elderly Hospital Ministry
At LMC we believe that God loves people of all ages, regardless of health and ability. We go regularly to the care homes and hospitals in our area to minister to our elderly brothers and sisters with God's love. Come and join us!
Saturday from 3:00-4:00 at the Regency in Puakea.
Sunday from 9:00-10:00 at Garden Isle Health Care (Wilcox Hospital).
Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 at Mahelona Hospital.
We also have bi-weekly and monthly ministries.
Nourish Kaua'i
We work with Nourish Kaua'i (a partnership of locally owned farms, businesses and churches) to deliver food to Kupuna and others in need every Wednesday. Contact Pastor Ernie to volunteer: 482-0081
Na Lima Kokua LMC
Na Lima Kokua LMC (Helping Hands LMC)
Is a ministry where we try to connect areas of need with people and resources to meet those needs. (IE. Simple Home/Yard Cleaning, Trash removal, Small Projects)
Helping Hands LMC does at least one project a month. If you are interested in participating in Na Lima Kokua LMC or if you know of a need please email us at lihuemc@gmail.com.
BUS PASS PROGRAM: Is transportation a challenge? Lihue Missionary Church wants to eliminate that barrier and help you with access to attending Church on Sunday and the various activities we offer throughout the week.
If you could benefit or know someone who could benefit from paratransit or public transportation services to attend Church activities please email us at lihuemc@gmail.com.
